Redcatch EarthFest 2023

Sparked by the environmental crisis, this is a festival to celebrate our connection to the earth and educate and open our eyes and hearts to how we can all work individually and as a community to take better care of it.

Date June 2023 (TBC)

Inspired by the Neighbourhoods for the Earth organisation, we are joining with our park partners Redcatch Community Garden to hold the Redcatch Earth Festival in 2023. It's quite an undertaking and the first full park day event since 2015. We are currently working on the outline plan and are scoping out other partner groups as well as relevant traders and happenings to include on the day. Expect, fun things to do and see and plenty of great sustainable food to eat. The aim is for an event that focuses on sustainability and taking care of our environment while also acknowledging the need for the community to come together and celebrate with fun and music.

If you know of any suitable traders, or community organisation you feel would be interested in being involved then please get in touch.

Toilet Block Wash & Brush Up

The toilet block has become very run down. Check the images below to see how it's deteriorated

Then

Now

We aim to give it darn good spruce up. Since the Kingfisher mural was done by Ollie Gillard, the outside of the building has sadly fallen into disrepair and looks very shabby indeed. We need a few hands to help out. We aim to chip off all the render and prepare it to have a full new wraparound interactive mural next spring. If you fancy helping out then please sign up as a volunteer and we'll let you know when we have a date for this to start.  There will be full supervision and health and safety briefing
