Redcatch Park is owned by Bristol City Council. who  maintain the park.  It is now kept to such a high standard that it has been awarded a Green Flag for 3 years, which is a national award given to green spaces for the quality of its facilities, maintenance and community engagement.

Fliss - seen on the left in this picture was our own dedicated Parkie for many years but she is now part of the roving team for South Bristol, but still has a special interest in Redcatch and joins our working parties. Not only has  she always done a great job of keeping our park clean and beautiful she has developed a close working relationship with the Friends, local residents, dog walkers and users of the park and often lends a hand on her days off when special events take place.

The Friends work closely with BCC Parks staff, local Police and residents and have full support from Knowle Ward councillors  Cllrs Chris Davies  and Gary Hopkins who founded the Friends in 2002.
