ENTERTAINING LOCAL KNOWLE is holding their second ART IN THE PARK event on Sunday 11th September 12 -5. Lots of stalls, workshops, bands, dance, mural painting, children's and adults painting competitions and carving of our new sculptured bench - even fairies may be seen!  SOS Drama and children's drama to name just some of the attractions.  Biggest event in Knowle so don't miss out! Free! 

COMMUNITY PLANTING EVENT  Monday 4 April 10.30am planting Pulmonaria as an edging to the Jubilee Hedge.  All ages welcome - wear suitable shoes and bring a trowel if you can.

OFFICIAL OPENING OF NEW TENNIS COURTS - AND RAISED HERB BED PLANTING   The Lord Mayor of Bristol will be opening our fabulous tennis courts at 10am on Tuesday 24th September. Come along and join the celebration.  Following this there is the opportunity to take part in planting herb and sensory plants in our new raised beds.  Refreshments provided by Key Teas for all those taking part.  

MURAL PAINTING   Saturday 7 Sept Local Artist Bungle invites people to come along and help with painting the wonderful new mural on the end of the park pavilion.  Once again we are so lucky have such talented people living in Knowle.

WEDNESDAY 12 DECEMBER at 10am Community Planting Day - Our Diamond Jubilee commemorative hedgerow.  Local school children, disabled group, FORP and local residents will be planting over 100 whips of natural British hedgerow plants alongside the new tennis courts. 

AGM 14 NOVEMBER AT 7.30PM in Park Pavilion.  Short business meeting to elect officers and then chance to get to know each other over a drink and nibbles. Come and here what we have been doing and what is planned for the future 

THURSDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER join us between 3 and 9pm painting a mural on the entrance wall to the pavilion. All age project so bring little ones and grannie!  Refreshments from Key Teas - sponsored by FORP.  Should be good fun!

COMING SOON - Planting Day for red, white and blue flowers in the circular bed ready for the Jubilee, Painting Day to turn all the doggie bins green.  

SUNDAY 24TH JUNE - DIAMOND JUBILEE COMMUNITY CELEBRATION 1 - 5 PM  Entrance Free.  Children's entertainment, Puppet Show, Magic Show, Circus Skills, Dog Show and Dog agility, Dr Bike, Face Painting, BBQ, Cream Teas, Caribbean Food, Sweet Stall, Tuck Shop, Candy Floss and much more. Arena performers - Scout Band, Salsa, Egyptian Dancers, Street Dancers, Morris Dance.  MadRich will entertain and The Ambling Band will tour the site.             25 charity and craft Stalls will offer their wares around the arena. 

THURSDAY 24 MAY  - PUBLIC DROP IN MEETING AT PAVILION AT 11AM to view initial plans for refurbishment of the playground and equipment.  We need your views and ideas so please come along.  Refreshments available from Key Teas who are now operating from the pavilion.

SUNDAY 6TH NOVEMBER  2 pm -  COMMUNITY BULB PLANTING  -  Bluebells, Snowdrops and other natural woodland flowers.  Come along and help plant ready for flowering next Spring along with the Daffs, crocus and Narcissi already planted over the last two years.

THURSDAY 17TH NOVEMBER 10 am  - NEW FLOWERBED - Help plant over 100 new plants for our fabulous new centrepiece display.  Bring a trowel if possible.  

TUESDAY 29 TH NOVEMBER 10 am - 25 NEW TREES - Come and join Tree Bristol to complete the tree plan for our lovely park.  You could dedicate the trees you plant to your children or grandchildren and as they grow so will their tree.

SUNDAY 24TH JUNE 1pm - 5pm - QUEENS DIAMOND JUBILEE COMMUNITY CELEBRATION. Our annual Fun Day next year will be part of local Juilee celebrations.
